Responsibilities
• Conduct apartment outreach and secure housing for refugees prior to arrival• Liaise with property management organizations and research vendors for best values• Coordinate temporary housing if permanent housing is unavailable• Collaborate with Caseworkers to ensure smooth transition for refugees• Organize and lead the setup of housing, including signing leases and communication• Arrange logistics for new arrival home set-ups• Secure household donations and assist with in-kind contributions• Visit apartment complexes to ensure housing meets standards• Prepare and complete pre-arrival documentation for client case files• Coordinate with US Ties and complete required housing documents
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in housing and coordination• Knowledge of Bay Area's housing regulations, landscape, and network required• Ability to move furniture, complete household set-ups, and lift heavy objects• Ability to effectively communicate in a multi-cultural environment• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications• Valid driver's license and access to reliable vehicle
