• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with EcoSouth's Company policy to ensure windows, lights, mirrors, and rear-view camera are clean. Safely and efficiently operate assigned equipment. This Position will primarily operate an excavator but may include forklift, bulldozer, front-end loader, and other equipment as directed while using proper safety standards.• Continuously monitor waste for evidence of unacceptable waste in materials.• Consistently monitor the equipment to ensure that it is in peak operating condition to minimize downtime; Clean tracks or wheels on equipment, as needed.• Follow all required safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards.Responsibilities:• Good customer service skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts in a professional and cooperative manner toward customers and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.• Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.• Good follow-through ability; ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise.• Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules set forth; promotes the Company's safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.Qualifications:Includes: Lifting, Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Sitting, Standing, Squatting/Kneeling, Walking, Speaking, Hearing, Vision, and Manual Dexterity.• Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions, and other business interactions.• Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.• Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying sizes with or without amplification.• Equipment Operation: Able to operate a wide range of tools.• Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg.• Lifting: able to lift up to 30lbs/14kg.• Squatting/Kneeling: able to squat or kneel.• Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time delivering information.• Walking: Able to walk through the shop and other outside elements.
