The Grants Associate will lead the development of grant applications in collaboration with non-profit and public sector clients primarily to state and federal grant programs, working closely with client representatives and other members of the GPG team. This work requires skills in project management, meeting facilitation, client relationships, program ideation and development, writing, basic research and analysis, and attention to detail.In addition to working on grant applications, this position may contribute to other written reports, such as strategic plans, community asset and needs assessments, workgroup recommendation reports, research summaries, proposals from GPG to potential new clients, etc.This position is ideal for a well-organized, creative, and driven individual who can balance simultaneous work on multiple projects for different clients and manage deadlines.This is a remote position. Candidates must reside within the U.S. Many GPG clients operate on Pacific Time and the Grants Associate must be available to meet with clients between 8am and 5pm Pacific Time. Given the nature of grant application development and individual project needs, the Grants Associate position may require flexible hours.Functions and Responsibilities

Support grant application development with:Solicitation (i.e., RFP, RFA, RFQ, RFI, NOFA, etc.) review and analysisProject managementFacilitation of meetings with client contacts and application development teamsCollection and review of background materials and dataDevelopment of narrative outlines based on solicitation requirements and guidanceWritingForm and attachment completionFacilitation of iterative review and revision cycles, both internally and with clientsTechnical and content reviewFinalization and compilationSubmission support, including assistance with application systems such as Grants.govCommunicate with GPG team members and clients in person and via email, phone, and video conferenceAssist with the management of GPG's grant writing contracts, including communication with clients, coordinating requests for GPG grant writing services, and preparing reportsWork independently and through virtual environments to complete tasks and help advance projects while maintaining communication and transparency with coworkers and clientsBuild positive working relationships with GPG clients and team membersQualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience developing state and/or federal grant applications on behalf of nonprofit or public agenciesDemonstrated experience writing professional reports and proposalsAbility to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and in a virtual environmentAbility to interface with a wide range of clientsAbility to work on multiple projects at the same timeEffective written and oral communication skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to quickly understand project context and gain familiarity with relevant background information and researchFamiliarity with Google Workspace (including Gmail, Google Docs, and Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Familiarity with ZoomPreferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with online grant application systems (e.g., Grants.gov, SAM.gov, JustGrants, etc.)Experience working in the education, workforce development, human services, and/or health fields
