We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraiser for Art In Motion, Inc. a CA non-profit that oversees Radio KCLA-LPFM and the San Pedro FIlm Festival. In this role, you will have the opportunity to organize and implement fundraising initiatives that will support our mission to communities in the Los Angeles South Bay Area.
As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in securing the necessary funds to support our projects and ensure their success. You will develop relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders to build strong connections and create fundraising strategies that align with our mission and values. You will have the chance to utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential donors and inspire them to support our cause.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute fundraising strategies to meet financial goals
Cultivate relationships with current and potential donors, sponsors, and stakeholders
Plan and organize fundraising events and campaigns
Research and identify new fundraising opportunities
Create captivating fundraising materials
Manage donor and sponsor databases, ensuring accurate and timely recordkeeping
Provide regular updates on fundraising progress to the team and board of directors
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Proven experience in fundraising or sales
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors
Strong organizational and project management skills
Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies
Experience with donor and sponsor database management
Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently when needed
