Responsibilities: (K-12th Grade Aged Students)
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities, including academic, social, and life skills
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the academic and social-emotional growth of students with disabilities
Utilize assistive technology and accommodations to support student learning and communication
Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and individualized education plans

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
Valid Illinois Special Education Teaching Licensure & School Clearances required
LBS1 required
Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
Knowledge of evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions for students with diverse learning needs
Familiarity with assistive technology and accommodations used by students with disabilities
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to support student learning and growth
