Reputable Custom Single and Multi- Estimator
Overview: We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. This role will primarily focus on estimating, assisting the production team with verifying contract amounts, working closely with the controller, and managing purchase orders. Also, will have hands-on construction experience and a strong understanding of the construction process. This position offers an opportunity to work in a high-end custom home environment, with a mix of renovation and ground-up projects.
Responsibilities:
Estimate project costs and assist the production team in verifying contract amounts
Work closely with the controller to manage purchase orders and ensure accurate budgeting
Collaborate with trades and vendors to source materials and services
Assist in coordinating project schedules and timelines
Manage documentation and record-keeping related to purchasing and estimating
Requirements:
4+ years of hands-on construction experience
2+ years of experience in Project Management/Estimating preferred
Ability to perform take-offs and work with budget plans
Multi and Single home projects a plus, with strong communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Procore, and JD Edwards, experience with Builder trend is a plus
Positive attitude, team player, great with others
Experience running a custom construction or renovation company is highly desirable
