CauseMic is seeking an experienced digital marketing strategist to help execute our clients' multi-channel fundraising campaigns, website projects, and impact storytelling. This individual will influence strategy, recommend and create compelling content, and oversee content developed by a team of specialists to ensure our deliverables meet the CauseMic standard and help our nonprofit clients reach their goals.This is a full-time position based in Portland, OR, and will report to the Vice President. Doing
Help CauseMic achieve our clients' awareness, acquisition, and fundraising goals by turning a goal into an effective, multi-channel campaign.Pull and evaluate data from a variety of sources and leverage that data to create testing strategies, understand audience behavior and distill campaign results into recommendations around campaign performance.Define goals and outline content strategy for our team of specialists to fill with their various expertise.Conduct content and platform/channel audits to understand our clients' current state and recommend areas for optimization.Utilize existing integrated marketing frameworks for delivery and in some cases, create new ones.Create visual journeys that enable your teammates to clearly understand a user's desired path and identify the technical requirements that would enable the smooth execution of automation.Conduct research to gain an understanding of our clients' target audiences and topic trends that may be applicable to the content strategy.Prepare performance reports to be delivered by the client lead.Collaborate growth consultants, project managers, the senior leadership team and a team of specialists to ensure deliverables are cohesive and our work is impactful on behalf of our clients.Occasionally help draft email, social, and web copy for fundraising campaigns, engagement efforts, and impact reports.Support the client services team in maintaining client relationships by staying on top of client deadlines and making sure that our content is meeting expectations and delivering value.Who
You Are
You have 5+ years of experience in nonprofit marketing or fundraising (agency experience is a plus).You have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a similar field.You are data-driven in your approach to content strategy, discerning between the relevant and irrelevant, then leveraging your gut and best practice for your recommendations.You have a strong eye for quality design and copy and can give clear direction to other creatives.You have a working knowledge of how to execute and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns for nonprofits.You've got a strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and logically.You have a basic knowledge of digital fundraising technology, including email marketing systems, customer relationship management, and charitable giving platforms.You're able to tackle big projects by breaking them down into tangible sprints.You can anticipate challenges and suggest solutions to overcoming them.You're a proactive, organized, and strategic thinker who can communicate and collaborate effectively with teammates.Compensation and Perks
