Job DescriptionThe VirginiaMaryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Central Sterile Supply (CSS) Surgery Technician to assist faculty and house officers during surgical procedures for routine, emergency and afterhours cases. Instruct senior veterinary students by demonstrating and maintaining aseptic technique preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively. Maintains the daily flow of surgical operations to ensure availability of personnel and operating rooms for all procedures. Order and maintains supplies. Perform central sterile procedures including cleaning, packing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies. Assist in other areas as directed by supervisor.
