COOK (BANQUETS) Location St. Louis, MO (Near North Riverfront area) : Summary As the Banquet Cook, you must have in-depth skills and knowledge of all kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests' needs in a timely manner. On a daily basis, you must monitor food production, quality and consistency. Skills and knowledge to include culinary education, communication skills, organizational skills, and guest contact experience.

Associate's degree or higher (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2 years' experience in large scale banquet operations, preferably in a comparable full-service hotel Able to read event orders, organize banquet service and execute Able to read recipes and understand proper food handling and sanitation procedures Intermediate level of plating, sauce work, knife skills, roasting, broiling, grilling and vegetable prep Open availability including weekends and holidays in relation to business levels Pastry experience a plus
