Responsibilities
• Evaluate business needs and priorities• Translate business requirements into technical specifications• Participate in project planning• Generate design, development, and test plans• Develop data pipelines / APIs• Use analytical, data-driven approach• Build large-scale data pipelines• Move data from on-prem to cloud and perform data conversions
Requirements
• 6+ years of experience in data engineering with an emphasis on data analytics and reporting• 6+ years of experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP)• 6+ years of experience in SQL, data transformations, statistical analysis, and troubleshooting• 6+ years of experience in designing and building data extraction, transformation, and loading processes• 6+ years of experience with scripting languages (Python, SQL, Kafka, etc.)• 6+ years of experience designing and building solutions utilizing various Cloud services• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States• Ability to obtain and maintain secret clearance• Travel up to 10% annually• Must live or be willing to relocate to select cities• Must be in designated office location 10%-30% throughout the year
