Responsibilities
• Assist carpenters with preparing the layout of the project• Learn to estimate proportions and select materials• Utilize various tools to repair and erect structures• Work on ladders, scaffolding, and use surveying equipment• Create structures for pouring concrete• Observe and comply with safety and project rules• Aim for high production and quality output• Perform other duties as required
Requirements
• Basic knowledge of civil construction• Minimum of 6 months experience as a craftsman helper• Willingness to travel and work in remote areas• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions• Ability to attend mandatory safety meetings• Ability to work in a team environment• Ability to work long shifts and days
Key Skills Needed
• Ability to read blueprints• Knowledge of surveying equipment• Experience with construction tools• Good hand-eye coordination• Physical strength and endurance
