Responsibilities:Be responsible for accounting procedures, including bill payment and very detailed financial record-keeping for multiple entities.Manage accounting functions for multiple companies, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger accounting.Working in Sage accounting software, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive to streamline financial operations and ensure accuracy.Make detailed entries from real estate investment property owner statements for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy.Assist in monthly cash flow management by property and entity.Assist with month and end-year processes with a focus on accuracy, and to meet established financial guidelines.Create, organize, and maintain detailed fiscal files and records, ensuring a well-documented trail of all financial transactions.Qualifications:1-2+ years of hands-on experience as a staff accountant or full-charge bookkeeper.Proficiency in MS Office, Sage Accounting, and Google Drive, particularly with Sheets.Demonstrate knowledge and application of bookkeeping and accounting principles.Attention to detail, reflecting a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.Methodical and predictable approach to tasks, reflecting an organized and strategic mindset.Patient and accommodating demeanor, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure, ensuring a steady and focused approach to challenges.Team-oriented mindset, comfortable collaborating and contributing to our team of accounting professionals.Effective verbal and written communication skills.A sincere desire to learn and develop accounting skills.Beneficial: Understanding of real estate, taxes, and insurance, with a preference for candidates with knowledge or experience in these areas.
