Position Summary/Description: The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Clinical Research ( AVCCR ) will assume primary administrative responsibility for support and oversight of the University's clinical research enterprise including financial management, clinical research operations, and business development. The AVCCR will lead a team that is focused on growing and supporting clinical research while ensuring compliance and will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational activity of the University's clinical research enterprise. Key collaborative partners will be academic departments, UNC Health, and UNC Research Offices on interrelated missions as well as with external partners such as pharmaceutical companies and governing agencies. The AVCCR will exercise such supervisory responsibility as assigned by the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Research.
Education and Experience: Ten years or greater of relevant experience is preferred.
