Assistant Finance And Reporting Specialist

Provide superior service and assist as the point of contact person for our clients, Account Managers, CSRs and ACSRs.
Assist the Finance & Reporting Specialist to set commission structures in the system
Complete updates and set up team assignments and commission payables.
Assist the Finance & Reporting Specialist to deliver Monthly/Quarterly reporting to all commission eligible
employees.
Assist the Finance & Reporting Specialist with commission postings for all carriers for MSEB and BMA.
Complete Ad Hoc reporting from system for management, Account Managers and Sales.
Place supply orders for the Yorktown Office
Build and maintain a favorable and professional work relationship with other staff members.
Adhere to established employee manual policies and guidelines.
Adhere to workflow and E&O procedures and guidelines to reduce the risk of E&O claims.
Promptly report all E&O claims and potential E&O claims.
Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and agency information.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

College degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior experience in insurance lines of coverage, fundamental rating, underwriting and procedural skills .
Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
NYS Life & Health license required.
Experience with Vertafore a plus.
Works effectively and relates well with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside
the company in a professional manner.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
High level of organizational ability with attention to detail.

Starting salary is $40,000.

The salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
