Job Summary Crusher Operator will be responsible for the safe production of all quality aggregate products. Will provide leadership support for the Aggregate Foreman and will assist with day-to-day operations of the mine site. The Crusher Operator will assist with training of all miners, as necessary, and will assist with plant maintenance, recordkeeping, production logs, environmental tracking, and task training.

Requirements/Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work in a safe manner and adhere to all company policies Familiarity with aggregates and construction materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, etc. Knowledge and experience in various aggregate plant equipment (crushers, wash plants, conveyors, material washers, and various other types of fixed and mobile equipment used in the aggregate industry) Knowledge of the equipment and methods used in the production process, and related aspects of materials storage, handling and distribution of aggregates Excellent customer service, conflict resolution and communication skills Physical requirements: using various hand tools, climbing, walking and standing Ability to lift and/or move 75 lbs. on a routine basis; 100 lbs. on an occasional basis Able to work in wet and /or dry conditions and extreme heat and cold Current MSHA training certification preferred Experience in welding and cutting preferred Work environment may include moving mechanical parts, airborne particles and moderate to loud noises, requiring the consistent use of appropriate PPE Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.
