Adjunct Faculty: Graphic Design

Job Description Summary: The College of Arts & Sciences at Queens University of Charlotte seeks qualified candidates for part-time teaching needs starting Fall 2024 in graphic design courses. Primary teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses in the following areas: design fundamentals, illustration, typography, branding, UX, motion graphics, and graphic design history. The selected candidate will work with faculty from our collaborative Art, Design, and Music Department, which is dedicated to innovative and inclusive teaching. The position reports to the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
This position is exempt from provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and is not eligible to earn overtime pay or compensatory time off for additional hours worked. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Qualifications Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required :
A minimum of a master's degree in Graphic Design or related field. Preference will go to candidates with prior undergraduate teaching experience and evidence of teaching excellence.
