Schedule: Office hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility to work from home. Please note this position is primarily in-office and not a hybrid role.
Compensation: $50k-$55k
Position Summary The Accounting Clerk at Centralized Services reports directly to the Senior Accountant and works in close collaboration with the C-Suite, Accounting/Finance teams, and Site Management. This role is critical in managing and executing a variety of accounting tasks, with a strong focus on accounts payable processes. Responsibilities include daily entry and approval of bills, classification of bank transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring proper storage and retrieval of supporting documentation. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in administrative or data entry roles, demonstrating a high level of detail orientation, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. This position offers a salary range of $50,000-$55,000, full benefits after 30 days, and is based entirely in-office with no option for hybrid work.
Primary Responsibilities Daily accounts payable bill entry for multiple clients. Obtain bill approvals from Operations Managers / Directors/ COO / CEO. Daily classification of bank transactions for multiple clients. Ensure supporting documentation is correctly stored in the database; seek any missing documentation. Prepare A/P aging detail report biweekly for presentation to the team. Prepare financial reports from the accounting software as needed. Promptly respond to payment status inquiries from Operations Managers and vendors. Assist with the reconciliation of vendor accounts. Requirements Meticulous attention to detail. Highly computer literate with capability in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. A minimum of 3 years of experience in data entry or administrative assistance. Active listening skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines. Fantastic organizational and time management skills. Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work 100% in office, position is office only, no hybrid working. QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred. Associate's degree in business is preferred/High School Diploma Required.
