Department Overview:
The Wealth Management Platforms (WMP) organization manages digital platforms and experiences across the Advisor, Workplace and Direct channels, ensuring that our capabilities lead the industry and are delivered and integrated seamlessly.
The WMP Strategy & Execution (WMPSE) team works across WM Platforms and firmwide teams to align platform investments with business goals, empower stakeholders with insights, and drive effective execution.
The team is setup across 3 core functions: Platform Insights, Data Insights, and Execution office.
Job Overview:
The role will support WMPSE's Platform Insights and Execution Office functions.
Keyresponsibilities will include but will not be limited to the following:
Lead WM Platforms competitive intelligence strategy by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting information about competitors, market trends, and industry developments to enable better decision-making and strategic planning
Drive and facilitate WM Platforms ratings, awards, and recognitions
Partner across teams to maintain a client-centric focus based on Platforms feedback from Advisors and Clients
Support product owners answer strategic questions and assist in business case development
Partner with teams to turn plans into tangible results for key priorities and projects critical to WM and WM Platforms
Develop presentation materials to communicate status, insights, and recommendations to cross-functional audiences, up to the executive level
Partner across the Platforms organization to contribute to the larger initiatives
Lead ad-hoc project management efforts & strategic initiatives as they arise
Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required
7+ years of experience in management consulting, financial services, wealth management, and/or business strategy/management related fields
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to define complex business problems, synthesize data, and execute on tactical and strategic solutions
Proven ability to manage delivery/execution of a wide range of tasks and initiatives
Ability to be solution- and detail-oriented and quickly turnaround high-quality work without sacrificing skill or accuracy
Experience developing partnerships and successfully coordinating across cross-functional teams
Highly organized and detailed oriented
Team player that works well independently, a reliable self-started
Ability to identify and take on opportunities beyond individual responsibilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $110,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
