Warehouse Associate - 2nd shift (Sunday-Thursday)

We are currently looking for a Full Time 2nd shift Warehouse Associate for our Norton Shores facility. The essential job functions of this position include but are not limited to:

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESServes customers by providing accurate selection of products in an orderly and timely manner. The product must arrive correctly, on time and without damage.

Pick the right product ordered and to select the proper quantity ordered.
Ensure product is clean and not damaged when sent to customer.
Ensure the warehouse remains in a good, clean and organized manner. This includes a proper clean up at end of the shift.
Properly load and select all orders (Investigate) that are on the load manifest.
Follow all special customer requirements that are printed on the picking lists.
Label all orders that require customer labeling.
Report any and all damage of product and equipment.
Follows flow charts, written direction and verbal direction
Ensure that replenishment is being done at the rate of 20 drops per hour
Maintain the recycling standard
Collect all recycled materials throughout warehouse
Maintain warehouse cleanliness
Supports the Nichols Quality System (NQS) by identifying opportunities and implementing corrective and preventive action.
Report any accidents and equipment problems
Other duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities Requirements:
Ability to self-motivate to get results in critical areas

· Strong organizational skills
· Ability to multi task in order to keep on schedule
· Ability to work in a team environment
· Flexible and willing to change work schedule and drive alternate routes as needed

Education/Experience and other requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED required
· 1-3 yrs. experience in a warehouse operations in the areas of picking orders
· Computer skills, Warehouse Radio Frequency Technology experience a plus

Work performed in a warehouse environment.
Operation of fork truck, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
Standing and walking for long periods of time throughout the day.
Temperatures within the warehouse may be extreme at times.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
