The VP, Corporate Finance is aligned with other regional disciplinary heads and is responsible for acting as the lead for financial and other enterprise analyses. This position leads a highly skilled team that aligns with smaller groups within the region to define, drive and measure individual and groups of properties performance.

Responsibilities:

Influence performance through a cyclical process that involves analysis, deliberation, execution and benchmarking
Use data and a quantitative drive approach along with qualitative assessment to resolve complex issues and drive company objectives
Understand and interact with, Enterprise Analytics efforts to ensure that standards are communicated from the macro to various micro levels (ie region, team, property). Likewise, ad hoc needs originating at the micro levels should be reported up to allow for the creation of enterprise tools and standards.
Maintain an intimate familiarity with the strategy, tactics and metrics at the regional level
Maintain an appropriate level of familiarity with strategy, tactics and metrics at the team or property levels (ie certain high profile properties or situations such as acquisitions and dispositions may require direct interaction from the VP, Enterprise Analytics)
Team building and employee development; direct reports will be in high visibility positions, aligned with multi:disciplinary team members including VP, Asset Management, VP, Leasing, Director, Field Marketing, etc

Enterprise business plan
Performance benchmarking
Corporate level forecasting and budgeting
Enterprise debt analysis
Projected financial statements/analysis
Enterprise valuations
Special projects
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree Required: MBA Strongly preferred
Masters degree, CPA and/or CFA strongly preferred
10 years of relevant experience
Strong leadership, collaboration and interpersonal skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work at a peer level with other senior members of management
Strong familiarity with financial practices and standard documentation
Advanced capabilities related to strategic, tactical and analytical practices
5 years of supervisory experience
