Three years of Speech Therapy experience are required.Sub Job ID: L-047689Job ID: TA118264Start Date: SY 2020-2021Hours Needed: Full Time, Part Time and/or Per DiemGeneral Job Responsibilities: Work with students with severe disabilities between the ages of 5 and 21 years with cognitive delays typically our morebelow the mean.Pervasive supports are needed for adaptive behavior. Many of the students have multiple disabilities.
Provide direct therapy and consultation. Promote essential life skills and functioning of each student following their IEP. Provide as appropriate.
Work closely with teachers and staff to exchange information, demonstrate techniques and monitor progress daily. Determining appropriate speech therapy treatment plans through documented evaluations and consultations. Provide training for the use of necessary speech therapy equipment as deemed appropriate.
Carefully transcribing all... services provided by speech therapists in an effective and clear manner. Striving for professional development and timely completion of duties.
Consistently providing only the highest quality of speech therapy service.
