The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales department to achieve company growth and revenue goals with tens of millions in yearly revenues generated through a pipeline of opportunities equal to at least three times the yearly revenue target, Manage a team of direct & indirect sales and value added resellers to reach above target. This role will involve overseeing the sales strategy, developing sales plans, and executing programs that will drive both short-term and long-term business results. The VP of Sales will also work closely and collaborate with other departments to ensure the alignment of sales efforts with overall company objectives and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to meet the company's growth targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities. Work closely with the executive team to align sales goals with overall business objectives. Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, including recruiting, training, and performance management. Set clear sales targets and ensure the team is equipped with the resources and support needed to meet or exceed those goals. Foster a high-performance sales culture and encourage team collaboration, accountability, and success. Own and manage the company's sales pipeline and work to expand market share in key regions or verticals. Establish and track sales targets, ensuring alignment with company objectives, and adjust strategies as needed. Drive both new business and customer retention efforts to ensure long-term revenue growth. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, prospects, and partners. Ensure a customer-first mindset in the organization by offering exceptional service, regular communication, and proactive solutions to customer needs. Analyze customer feedback and sales performance data to continually improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. Work closely with the marketing, product, project, finance and leadership teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and alignment on key messaging. Provide insight into customer needs and market dynamics to support product development and marketing campaigns. Develop accurate sales forecasts and track sales performance against targets, adjusting strategies as necessary. Prepare and present regular reports to the executive team on sales performance, strategies, and growth opportunities. Manage the sales department budget and allocate resources efficiently to meet organizational goals. Evaluate and implement tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales team. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in sales leadership, with a minimum of 7-10 years in senior sales management or director-level roles.Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and growing a sales team, meeting revenue targets, and driving business growth.Experience working in parking industry preferred.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or similar advanced degree is preferred.Skills:Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.Excellent collaboration, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.Expertise in sales performance metrics, forecasting, and pipeline management.Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.). Personal Attributes: Results-driven, with a focus on achieving both short-term and long-term sales goals. Exceptional relationship-building skills with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams. Motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
