Due to continued expansion of our business and service offerings, Marketopia is looking for a Vice President of Sales to join the hottest marketing and demand generation firm serving the technology industry This position will lead new client acquisition, account management and sales support as well as personally achieving sales objectives. This role is responsible for overseeing and developing a sales team to drive and exceed company revenue objectives.

This role will work alongside the CEO in a highly motivating and energetic environment. A successful candidate should have a strong desire for high volume sales, a contagious work ethic with focused attention to detail and strive to produce work at the highest quality standards. Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities
Be responsible for net new technology vendor client acquisition
Establish sales territories, quotas, and goals for the sales team
Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of opportunities
Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting
Report on the team and individual performance
Develop and execute innovative sales strategies
Build and form new partnerships with potential clients
Actively engage in mentoring Account Managers to ensure client plans and strategies align with growth objectives
Team with leadership in other business areas to ensure campaigns are executed properly
Leverage Salesforce reporting tools and dashboards to monitor and present KPIs and metrics
Provide Sales consulting support to Marketopia clients

Requirements:

A Bachelors degree in Business, Management or similar or higher from an accredited university
A minimum of 5 years leading sales or business development organizations at the director level or higher in an advertising or marketing organization
Strong marketing generalist, able to build, explain, strategize and sell marketing campaign services
Familiarity with CRM platforms, ideally Salesforce
Ability to work independently while collaborating with peers and management to achieve goals
Strong leadership, business and sales acumen
Exceptional relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport, influence and deepen relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to travel to attend conferences to develop relationships with prospects, clients and partners
