Core Markets Group (CMG) Vice president of Marketing and Business Development, will be responsible for driving Xilinx strategy, solutions and profitable growth in the following 6 markets:

1. Aerospace and Defense

2. Automotive

3. Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM)

4. Test, Measurement and Emulation (TME)

5. Audio, Video and Broadcast

6. Consumer

CMG Vice President of Marketing and Business Development will lead a group of professionals with vertical expertise in the above:mentioned markets that will include system architects, business leads, marketing and business operations personnel. As the leader of this organization, VP of Marketing and Business Development will be responsible for:

: Center of excellence for vertical market knowledge

: Expertise in the vertical market applications

: Understanding of the current and potential future trends in the vertical markets

: Craft and drive vertical market strategy and profitable revenue growth

: Define target applications within segment : craft strategy to address

: Drive Sales success in executing vertical market strategy

: Own profitability of Xilinx business in Core Markets

: Identify and prioritize vertical:market:specific solutions

: Define vertical market requirements : application use cases : for future product definitions

: Define key required solutions, ecosystem partners and establish relations

: Drive architectural discussions in key business opportunities

: Establish a low:touch digital sales channel capability for relevant Xilinx products to attract and access non:traditional customers

Qualifications:

1. Over 20 years of experience in business leadership roles, with consistent track record of achieving business growth

2. Ability to craft and drive market strategies and execute those strategies into revenue growth

3. Ability to influence executive and senior level leaders cross:functionally to drive Xilinx CMG cause

4. Knowledge of Xilinx CMG target markets (mentioned above), key applications and their current and future dynamics

5. Knowledge of FPGAs, and competitors such as ASSPs, ASICs, etc.

6. Ability to partner with CMG sales organization and collaboratively drive business success

7. Strong eye for business and intuition

8. Skilled negotiator with large customers and partners
