Description The Vice President of Marketing will be responsible for activating the Hawkers brand vision across the organization. This position is instrumental in the collaboration, planning, and implementation, of all traditional and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, creating, and delivering marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company products and services all while supporting Hawkers mantra, vision and values.

Major Responsibilities:

Collaborate with leadership and the entire management team to ensure a consistent message and brand image
Create, manage, coordinate and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans in support of company vision and objectives
Develop annual marketing plan: in support of Hawkers strategy and objectives
Create, deliver, and manage marketing programs that support company sales goals. Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the development of unique, multi:platform messages to support the growth of the business
Implement overall digital marketing strategy
Identify gaps in current marketing capabilities and develop solutions to address them
Ensure all marketing programs are executed within timelines, company policies and budget
Support event sales and marketing efforts
Expand current marketing channels through ongoing optimization
Oversee the entire marketing department including the creative team
Analyze local marketing needs and remain up to date on industry trends and influencers
Identify and guide opportunities for building scalable systems that will allow restaurants to grow
Lead social media and influencer strategy, and develop new approaches to track and create engagement across social platforms
Maintain existing website including being able to control updates and additions as required
Able to produce copy for use in marketing collateral pertain to positioning of our product
Coach, Mentor and raise the teams ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for succession talent
Advise and work collaboratively with all department heads including operations, finance, construction, IT and HR to ensure strategic objectives are understood and aligned

Minimum of 10 years experience in Marketing with at least 5 of those years leading a marketing team
Proficient in use of computer software including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Hospitality experience a plus
Experience in marketing strategy and marketing plan development and execution
Experience in writing articles and external communications management
Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
Must be comfortable in an independent working environment and be able to take full responsibility of projects and tasks
