Reporting to the SVP of Strategic Growth Channels, the Vice President, Marketing : Strategic Growth Channels will be responsible for leading the Strategic Growth Channels portfolio across Foodservice, C:Store, Dollar Stores, Discount Stores, Drug Stores and Export, of a highly competitive category. S/he will be responsible for driving marketing excellence across these categories as well as determining innovation strategies to take the brands into new categories and occasions. This is a leadership role responsible for developing, implementing and managing annual strategic, financial and operating plans. This will include analysis and P and L, and leading a cross:functional team with responsibility for aligning the organization on brand vision in channels, strategies, innovation and resources.

Lead the development and brand portfolio strategy for our Strategic Growth Channel portfolio including all U.S. Danone brands (ie International Delight, Oikos, Danimals, Dannon, YoCrunch, Silk, SToK etc.), applicable segments (ie plant based, Greek, kids, etc.) and pack types (ie bulk, cups, drinkables, etc.) for Strategic Growth Channels
Lead the portfolio strategy for Strategic Growth Channels which includes Foodservice, Vending/OCS, Convenience Stores, Dollar Stores, Discount Stores, Drug Stores and Export
Exercise leadership in planning, structuring and organizing work and setting team priorities across brands
Ensure the development and understanding of consumer and consumer/operator insights, needs and financials
Responsible and accountable for the achievement of revenue, profitability, market share and other objectives by:
o Developing and executing annual and long:term strategic plans for assigned brands consistent with corporate priorities
o Supporting staff in the active management of product line profit and loss statements
o Enabling and leveraging cross:functional teams, including Yogurt BU Brand Teams, Sales, GTM, Finance and R and D, to meet Brand Plans and drive execution excellence
o Ensure development of brand and category strategies to meet consumer and customer objectives
o Being accountable for marketing strategies but not limited to advertising, media, promotions, research packaging and pricing
o Developing and maintaining strategic relationships with external partners and agencies
o Increasing brand value by utilizing basic Consumer Insight principles
o Lead price/pack architecture principles
o Provide input on S and OP, demand forecasting and long:range capacity planning
Develop and consistently build Brand Equity as a means of attaining volume goals and long:term profit growth and ensures all elements of marketing mix reflect brand positioning
Partner with channel marketing activation to create business building solutions that drive penetration and velocity in priority channels/segments
Analyze the specific business, category trends/dynamics and competitive landscape to deliver insights, recommendations and actions to achieve objectives
Lead and influence innovation to develop and execute short and long:term core improvement and new products
