The Vice President, Marketing is responsible for developing the overall Marketing strategy and managing the Marketing team for FerGene. This position reports directly to the COO and is considered part of the Commercial Leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

Build, recruit and lead the Marketing function
Share direct P and L responsibility for Adstiladrin
Jointly with the Market Access Lead, own the demand forecast, make pricing recommendations for launch and beyond, and proactively manage gross:to:net
Develop and manage annual and quarterly expense budget
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Finance to generate Real Time analytics that provide deep and actionable insights into the business; track KPIs
Strategic Advisor to Senior Management on market trends and competitive information in therapeutic markets
Develop long:term strategic plan and working closely with Medical Affairs and Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR), recommend life:cycle management investment plan
Create/refine brand strategy, product positioning, brand equity, core messages and tactics targeting providers, payors, patients, caregivers and the general public
Create and execute personal and non:personal promotion strategies and tactics/tools, oversee the design of web sites and other digital assets
Collaborating with the Medical Affairs, create content and execute the program for the speaker training
Lead the annual brand planning process and budget presentations
Understand and gain deep customer insights for all critical stakeholders (IDNs, GPOs, hospitals, LUGPA, community urology, nurses, patients).
Identify data gaps/information needs and design market research, advisory boards and other avenues for obtaining/maintaining deep insights into the market
Establish personal connections with key opinion leaders, top customers, patient advocacy representatives and other key stakeholders
Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR and Market Access in the submission of dossiers for guideline committees, payors and health transparency assessments
Design, plan and lead sales meetings for launch and POAs; design sales force training programs and materials
Design incentive compensation plan and make recommendations for pay:outs, exception handling and performance rewards
Upon request, provide commercial input on business development opportunities
Design, recruit and lead the marketing team
Refine existing blueprint for sales force size, geographic deployment, reach and frequency and management span of control
Design an inclusive, collaborative framework to integrate field:based functions not reporting into marketing (Sales, Medical Science Liaisons, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Patient Access staff) while maintaining strict compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
Meet or exceed annual and quarterly sales and budget targets, managing performance
Design and implement CRM functionality in conjunction with sales operations and IT, playbooks, non:personal promotion tactics/tools and the speaker bureau program
Allocate and manage quarterly and yearly budget for speaker programs and T and E
Establish personal connections with key opinion leaders, top customers, patient advocacy representatives and other key stakeholders
Define career ladders, develop/coach the marketing organization
Qualifications:

Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
Minimum of 15 years experience with branded pharmaceutical manufacturers, majority of which in the US
Relationships within the Urology Community strongly preferred
Experience in designing organizations (structures, processes, systems, etc.) and in identifying, attracting, leading, motivating and developing top talent
Solid analytical/planning skills, incl. budgeting/forecasting and tracking of KPIs
Charismatic leader with excellent communication and presentation skills
Self:starter, able to work with minimal direction and comfortable with ambiguity
