You will define customer segments, leverage predictive statistical modeling to grow and retain customers, articulate customer movement, establish customer data performance metrics, and guide quality customer and prospect targeting activities. The role will oversee a direct marketing program generating leads digital, direct and field sales distribution segments, with an annual budget of over 60 million. This role is responsible for the full cycle of marketing execution including list generation, vendor management, lead collection and distribution.
Your Impact:
Leads direct marketing for CNO Financials family of brands and has full management responsibility for a team of direct reports.
Responsible for developing mid to longer term marketing strategies to guide prospective and active customer campaigns, and multi:channel contact strategies.
Drives a shift from purchasing third:party leads to generating organic leads.
Manages digital marketing programs for lead generation, which include email marketing, social media, banner ads, and third:party web opt:in leads.
Optimizes marketing spend by brand and channel to maximize return on investment from cost:per:lead and conversion rates.
Provides leadership to digital lead generation strategy, and the adoption of comprehensive digital plan of the multi:channel marketing for the penetration of target audiences.
Understands how customer trends are changing and develops strategies that apply to those trends.
Builds and retains a high performing team.
Oversees the vendor management relationship which includes multiple vendors responsible for printing/mailing and lead management as well as web lead generation and targeting.

Mastery marketing principles across various products and in:depth knowledge of consumer and direct marketing practices.
Senior level knowledge of digital marketing programs and practices.
Proven experience launching new marketing campaigns.
Strong working knowledge of insurance operations and products.
Strong management and people leadership skills.
Requires developed communication skills to influence and negotiate (mainly internally) with others, frequently at senior levels; persuades managers and leaders to act as necessary.
Informs and recommends consumer marketing strategies. Establishes collaborative relations with other marketing subfunctions to ensure strategies align.
Excellent problem:solving skills to leverage predictive statistical modeling to grow and retain customers, articulate customer movement, establish customer data performance metrics, and guide quality customer and prospective targeting activities.
Substantial knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry trends.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business:related software.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in marketing, or related field, required. Masters degree preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related work experience, including 7 years of management experience.
