A Vice President plays a lead role on their accounts, with various responsibilities as listed below. They are expected to not only demonstrate superior media relations skills, but also have the ability to manage multiple projects and people. Additionally, as leaders and ambassadors of the firm, Vice Presidents should mentor and inspire the junior team members and peers.

Responsibilities
Media Relations
Demonstrate ability to create and present multi:Company strategic media relations campaigns and results to clients
Use your media contacts to secure effective/impactful media results
Conduct media training sessions and participate in media interviews with clients
Improve media relations skills of more junior employees
Client Service
Serve as a senior strategic counselor and a senior day:to:day client contact for a client portfolio with annualized fees of 1,000,000 or more
Take a supporting role in responding to crisis management situations
Demonstrate an expert understanding of the PR Companyft and your clients business, business plan, industry and the competitive environment
Demonstrate an interest in and aptitude for the financial operations of Prosek as an agency; understand the business Organizationel and dynamics that affect profitability
Required Skill Set
Writing
Oversee all written materials created by the account team that are presented to clients and the media
Companyft compelling new business and client presentations and mentor junior staff in all aspects of writing
Communication and Presentation Skills
Create and present compelling presentations
Demonstrate the ability to clearly and confidently present in front of internal and external teams
Serve as a speaker/panelist at industry forums and other gatherings of potential new business prospects
Leadership and Mentorship
Serve as a mentor and senior counselor to your staff
Ensure that the account teams are appropriately staffed
Ensure that the team gets performance feedback and that its members feel recognized and rewarded
Help senior managers and practice leaders execute employer career training, development and advancement
Firm Contribution
Be a Prosek Ambassador
Annually generate at least one thought leadership publication or publically demonstrate knowledge in your area of expertise
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Prosek as a global company and market Prosek to your clients and establish and maintain the reputation and perceived value of the agency
Be actively involved in employee recruitment and cultivate outreach opportunities in the region (ie industry meetings, academic forums, award programs, etc.) to attract key players to the agency
Professional Background
10 : 12 years of experience
Strategic Communications experience (preferably in an agency) in one or more of the following sectors financial services, professional services, technology, and/or B2B communications
