The Territory Sales Manager - Sleep is responsible for directly promoting, selling, and supporting Cadwell's Sleep Diagnostic products (PSG & HSAT). The Territory Sales Manager - Sleep will coordinate and drive sales of all assigned products. The position is focused on growing Cadwell's overall business within the sales region through account penetration and development, promoting teamwork and team selling activities, and driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction. This territory covers ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, IN, OH, MI and requires living near a major metropolitan airport.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed established sales goals for assigned Sleep Diagnostic product lines
Conduct in-person demonstrations of our sleep diagnostic products to potential clients.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to reach out to potential customers, understand their needs, and convert them into clients.
Orchestrate team selling activities for hospital/IDN/KOL accounts with product line Sales Specialists, and other sales teams.
Develop territory business plans in alignment with management goals for the region
Create territory sales forecasts, utilize administrative tools for opportunity management (CRM)
Actively participate in Sleep Diagnostic related trade shows, exhibitions, conventions, and courses approved by Cadwell
Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and forecasts
Function as liaison between customers and Cadwell; assist in resolving problems and concerns and maintain excellent customer support throughout the region
Provide customer recommendations and requirements to staff to assist in the technical development and marketing of products and services
Develop in-depth technical understanding of assigned product lines
Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
Education / Experience:
Prior experience in a clinical sleep setting is required or equivalent sales experience in Sleep diagnostics
4+ years' of professional sales experience or equivalent, ideally in medical devices, or in the medical/scientific research field is required
Job Knowledge / Requirements:
Requires excellent oral and written communications skills, including formal presentation skills before small groups to clearly communicate technical information
Accurately assess customer needs and provide consultative solutions
Willingness and understanding of how to build long-term relationships with customers
Skilled in problem analysis and resolution; sound decision making capability with alignment to company goals, objectives, and values
Computer literacy is essential
Working knowledge of Window OS in a networked environment is preferred
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
General sales positions may require some standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, finger dexterity, talking, hearing, visual acuity, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. More specific details may be provided as needed or requested.
Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy required
80% travel required; must be able to obtain necessary travel documents; majority of travel will be regional but not limited to the defined territory. This position must have close proximity to a major airport. The territory may be changed at Cadwell's sole discretion.
Work hours outside normal business hours may be required to meet business needs
