As a Tax Manager at Hall CPA, you are responsible for delivering high quality advisory and tax returns, the happiness of the client, and mentoring and developing members on your team. We are looking for someone who has experience in managing clients and people, and can elevate everyone around them.

Salary: Starting at $115,000
Bonus: Starting at $11,500
Conduct final technical reviews of tax returns and documents for partnerships and high net worth individualsConsult on transactions, partner economics, tax distributions, and other events throughout the partnership lifecycleEvaluate the tax aspects of partnership agreements and ensure the client maintains compliance with Internal Revenue Code (IRC) 704b accountsResearch complex tax issues and provide recommendations for resolutionStay updated on changes in tax laws and proceduresAssist in the planning, organization, and coordination of client engagements to meet all deadlinesServe as the primary client contact, ensuring their best interests are representedAssist in team development of technical skills and work quality, providing mentorship and trainingResponsible for maintaining strong client relationships by managing their expectations, being responsive to their communications/emailsRecommend other firm services to the benefit of the client. Ex: bookkeeping services, tax advisory etc. Consult with clients and, when needed, resolve their complaints Happiness rating of tax preparation and advisory clientsImplementation of firm improvements (number, type, impact)Delivering on your promises with clients Clean background with no noise or distractionsBusiness casual attire for client interactionsAlways use video (80% of communication is non-verbal)We provide a laptop and annual $500 tech reimbursement for computer/tech accessories You're disciplined and thrive in a fast-paced environment that is in relentless pursuit of changing the accounting industryYou have exceptional time management and supervisory skillsYou possess excellent communication and listening skills, breaking down barriers to solve problems and improve operational performanceYou take ownership of your work, clients, and team members and drive projects to the finish lineYou love working with and speaking to clients, delivering results and improving their livesYou're friendly, have a sense of humor, enjoy helping and teaching others, and speak kindly of others Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college or university CPA certificationExperience with real estate tax matters, partnership taxation, and multi-state tax returnsMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
