The Supervisor of Pharmacy Purchasing is responsible for procurement activities related to pharmaceutical purchases for Novant Health Pharmacy. Responsible for drug shortage monitoring, research and procurement.

Qualifications
Education:Associates Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience:Minimum five years demonstrated progressive experience in healthcare. Minimum two years of drug purchasing experience required. Novant Health procurement experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Additional Skills Required:Considerable knowledge and application of basic math skills, including ratio and proportion relationships; familiarity with keyboard; extensive ability to communicate accurately and effectively under pressure; good written communication skills; ability to comprehend and follow verbal instructions. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed.
Additional Skills Preferred:Auditing and Accounting Skills.
