A national IT Solutions Provider partnered with EMC, NetApp, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft and Cisco is in rapid growth mode and looking for Senior level Network Solutions Architects with excellent Cisco R&S Networking Solutions Design expertise.
The Networking Solutions Architect will be the primary presales technical resource for the region. The Solutions Architect serves as the Subject Matter Expert to the sales teams for infrastructure, network and software requirements.

***This role allows you to work remotely when not in front of customers.
What You Need for this Position
- 4+ years hands-on IT experience with network solutions and architecture.
- 4+ years experience as a Networking Engineer (route/switch or wireless) or related operational Engineering role.
- Experience interfacing with customers and providing technical solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 30% or as business needs dictate.
- CCNP or CCDP OR experience in a customer facing role / coming from a VAR
- CCIE strongly preferred
- Experience with consultative selling or solution-based sales in a technical field.
- Strong understanding of routing technologies and applications, specifically Cisco-related products
- Preferred vendor product knowledge: Cisco, Palo Alto Networks
- Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv6, WAN routing (such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Proven experience of successful solution selling
- Proven presentation and sales skills
- Excellent communication, documentation and customer facing skills
What You Will Be Doing
-As the Networking Solutions Architect, you will serve as the focused technical lead and pre-sales engineer for targeted product and service solutions, supporting accounts driving revenue within the customer account portfolio.
- Perform in a Pre-Sales SA role while also acting as the SME in Networking technologies
- Provide technical support and consultation to account executives using your expertise of networking, security and/ or data center
- Design solutions for customers and document the scope of projects
- Assist in driving overall revenue and increase profitability
- Align the business needs of customers and prospects to a technical solution and presenting the solution the customer in terms of business benefits
