What youll do on a typical day:
:
Audit freight invoices by interpreting and applying carrier rate provisions and information from customer contracts
:
Validate system data for accuracy related to customer and carrier contracts
:
Research, analyze and identify issues and errors on freight invoices; collaborate with internal and external parties to resolve issues as needed
:
Assist other Freight Audit and Payment staff with the freight invoicing process
:
Work with supervisor to prioritize workload and update status of accounts
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, youll need:
:
High school diploma or equivalent
:
1 year of experience in transportation
:
Carrier contract auditing and accounts payable experience
:
Broad range of network and desktop knowledge, including experience with Microsoft Office and various XPO operating systems
Itd be great if you also have:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong organizational skills with proven ability to multitask and prioritize workloads

Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to effectively identify and resolve problems
