Help us build the DNA of tech. Vishay This Film in Niagara Falls, NY is currently seeking a full time Shipping/Receiving Clerk responsible for packaging
and preparing finished product for shipment to customer in accordance with customer requirements. Insuring the quantity packaged meets the contractual requirements of the customer purchase order and that all associated paperwork and shipment containers are properly labeled.

Primary Responsibilities

:
Review travelers, production cards and checklists to insure all paperwork is in the

proper order and filled out correctly.
:

Insure the accuracy of the physical count of product and data printed on labels.
:

Generate packing list and double check the shipping schedule, quantity due,

shipping method, ship to address, bill method, packaging requirements, test data

required, QA clauses and all other special instructions required by the customer.
:

Enter appropriate quantity information on Vishay computer system.
:

Read and decipher standard Vishay part numbers.
:

Complete routing information on waybill documentation, including SEDs,

NADTA agreements, Canada customers and certificated of origins.
:

Prepare products into specific packaging requirements and attaches documents and

labels to outer shipping container.

Requirements

High School Diploma

Ability to read and write in order to read production documents accurately record required information.

Ability to perform arithmetic calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Familiarity with basic computer functions.

Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to details and numbers.

Ability to perform more than one job function simultaneously.

Legible handwriting and typing experience.

Ability to understand verbal instruction in order to take work direction and accurately ship products.

Organizational skills in order to maintain an efficient workstation.
