What Youll Do

The SVP of Business Development will oversee and manage business development for AGBs largest brands while ensuring budget and new business expectations are met. You will direct profit and loss (P and L) responsibility and oversight. You will spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the companys overall strategy and goals, including revenue generation and strategic partnerships development and people management.

What youll be working on

Directly manage ABGs Business Development team

Oversee 100+ million budgets with P and L responsibility, controlling responsibility over new business generation on a worldwide basis.

Lead market research and analysis on business development initiatives. Including, ongoing review and research on economic and retail landscape to understand the goings:on and trends in the business in order to make the best business decisions

Responsible for identifying, compiling, and formatting salient financial and commercial data for presentation to senior management in a clear and concise manner.

Partner with senior management on an ongoing basis related to management and processes of ongoing business.

Legal Contract drafting, review, and negotiation.

Effectively communicate with licensing partners, ABG Board of Directors, and internal teams related to business.

Responsible for generating leads and executing new licensing deals, including partner outreach and business development initiatives that are consistent with the Companys overall strategy.

Assist with revenue generation and review opportunities for business development across multiple channels.

Maintain the knowledge necessary to make sales. Achieve sales quotas. Identify target customers. Identify key decision makers.

Have meetings with potential clients to analyze their needs and present appropriate solutions.

Negotiate license contracts.

Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.

Organize brand materials to implement on business pitches and other initiatives.

Must Haves:

8+ years of experience as a business development consultant/professional, banking analyst or related occupation

Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field

Understanding of the licensing business including trademark, copyright and intellectual property matters such as name, image, and likeness rights of public personalities.

Ability to manage multiple projects, businesses, and persons simultaneously

Understanding of financial concepts, accounting, mathematics, valuation, capital markets knowledge

Strategic partner with senior management,

Legal skills, contract drafting and reading

Software programs: Bloomberg, EDGAR, SEDAR, and Microsoft Office: Excel, P
