What you will do
Reporting to the Vice President of Commercial Excellence you will execute essential research and data collection to develop sales and growth strategies across global products. In order to be effective you will need to use your strong understanding of quantitative and financial business analyses related to go-to-market sales strategies. Use innovative methods to interpret findings and create compelling and succinct sales programs in conjunction with product business unit leadership. Drive further linkage by program managing the execution of associated strategies for the Johnson Controls global products business. Collaborates across the global regions/PBUs on go-to-market strategies and broader business strategies (product, channel, etc). Assist as needed on other key projects including distributor program analysis/development, M&A, etc. Own the development and execution of the JCI global products sales operating system.
How you will do it
Leads the Sales operating system across all product businesses including program management of sales execution activities, relevant financial analysis, and data preparation.
Interprets outlooks and operational results of targets by reviewing financial and market performance. Uses various reporting tools and systems including financial, market share, Salesforce and various BI tools.
Works with IT organization as a business leader on data automation and interpretation to leading and lagging indicators for each business unit.

Prepares and engages with C-level leadership through presentations on business performance and relevant sales execution strategies spanning market performance, talent, new products, and channel growth.
Works with sales and other functional leaders to assess issues and develop recommendations in the creation of local market strategies. Implements sustainable business improvement plans to execute strategies at the local market and channel level.
Pioneers ideas for go to market/channel strategies and for product portfolio optimization.
Creates growth / process improvement plans with each business unit. Offers recommendations and analysis on course correction and seriousness and magnitude of business issues
Utilizes external research and financial analysis and provide recommendations to build the business unit growth plans.
Performs other related projects as assigned.

What we look for
Bachelor?s degree in Business/Finance/Data Science (MBA preferred)
Minimum of 8+ years in a consulting firm/practice with increasing project scope and responsibility
Experience in data analytics; strong ability to accurately interpret data and trends and synthesize into a cohesive and compelling business case
Expertise in using power point & other medium to accurately depict to C-level leadership.
Understanding of basic business financial and how to read and interpret financial documents (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, etc)

Ability to interact, gain consensus, and manage change initiatives across functional boundaries.
Demonstrated presentation and communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a highly energetic and multiple-engagement environment, dedication to teamwork, a strong work initiative, internal drive and motivation and the ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and ideas.
