Job Description Senior Director, Managed Markets Marketing Reporting to the Executive Director, Managed Markets Marketing, the Senior Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight to achieve access goals and net revenue for Gilead products.

Key Responsibilities:

Partners collaboratively with cross functional partners (brand marketing, managed markets leadership, pricing and contracting, trade, access services, HEOR, medical and legal) to establish and align strategies and tactics designed to achieve payer access goals

Develop a strategic managed market plan of action
Provides payer:related context and insights such as market size and dynamics, product clinical profile, product differentiation, competitive environment, market share trends, and lifecycle plan
Monitors progress and communicates updates with internal/external stakeholders
Develop payer tools, resources and programs for the managed markets field teams to achieve short:term and long:term business objectives
Deliver clear recommendations relating to payer strategies, pricing and reimbursement, evidence generation, data collection and value propositions
Create the necessary evidence packages required to demonstrate the utility and value our products deliver to payers
Work with commercial operations and managed markets research and analytics to attain deep customer and market insights to create KPIs aligned to strategic objectives with quarterly updates
Anticipate market trends and competitive landscape to define strategies, positioning, and plans to successfully contend in an increasingly competitive market environment
Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with payers and other business partners
Provides leadership, coaching and development to direct reports
Work with business and managed markets research and analytics to attain deep customer and market insights and create Key Performance Indicators aligned to strategic objectives with quarterly updates
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors degree required, MBA/MS preferred
10+ years experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry experience required
5+ years of relevant experience in market access, brand marketing, payer account management or related fields is required
Previous experience leading individuals and cross functional teams
Practical knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing that includes FDA regulatory and legal environment
Strong teamwork, collaboration and communication skills
Breadth of experience across commercial functions (eg managed markets, marketing, sales/sales leadership, operations, etc.)
Product launch and specialty market experience preferred
Computer aptitude with appropriate software programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat is required.
