Summary
The Sr. Director, Global Facilities Management will be responsible for managing Skyworks? global facilities footprint, real estate portfolio, sustainability strategies and workplace safety as well as overall building and workforce security. The incumbent will partner with Finance, Human Resources and Legal to ensure development and execution of a strategic long-term roadmap for corporate real estate management, facilities management, risk management, workplace safety, business continuity, sustainability and overall corporate workforce security.

Responsbilities
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Develops, communicates and ensures compliance to global design, construction and facilities standards across all global sites
Plans and ensures the strategic direction associated with consolidation efforts, space planning, global standards, and ergonomic configuration are carried out at each site
Manages building space allocation, layout and facility expansions
Manage the risk assessment, renewal strategy and application for the Property Insurance program
Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications
Global responsibility for enterprise-wide building access system, policies and PCI compliance
Manages contract services and directs crews (janitors, building maintenance personnel etc.)
Works with finance to manage contracts for all global locations
Negotiates with project vendors
Primary liaison between the lead carrier engineering team and Skyworks' facilities and plant managers
Researches, develops and implements policies that increase levels of sustainability without detracting from other business goals.
Ensures adherence to all laws, customer sustainability requirements and industry regulations.
Participates in customer audits.
Leads overall workplace safety program including evaluating the work environment, equipment and processes to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards with the goal of protecting employees, customers and the environment.
Plans, examines, analyzes, evaluates and supervises security operations, inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel.
Identifies and resolves security related problems.
Ensures standards for interaction with landlords and building occupants are followed, that standards for issue resolution, maintenance, security and safety are enforced so as to minimize issues and risk
Develops preventative security programs, including the supervision of security personnel.
Performs audits of security related performance and conducts physical surveys of premise security, including security equipment condition.
Conducts, supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of Skyworks regulations, policies and procedures; develops, implements and manages security training.
Assists in preparation of emergency management, business continuity and contingency planning.
Serves as Skyworks? liaison with public law enforcement, fire and other agencies.
Travels to global Skyworks? site locations
Experience
We require 15+ years previous related experience.
Experience in managing facilities, safety and security for a multi-site global environment
Proven ability to work toward stringent deadlines
Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent negotiation skills
Excellent commercial and financial awareness
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Confident in presentation skills, both internally and externally
Ability to build fast and credible relationships with Senior Management and stakeholders
Ability to challenge and influence when necessary
A 'can-do' attitude and resilient character with the ability to manage expectations
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, MS Project or other Project Management tool expertise
Education
Bachelor?s Degree in Property, Facilities or Corporate Real Estate Management or related field; MS preferred
