Here, everyone matters and you will be a vital contributor to our inspiring, bold mission. As a Senior Director, Brand Strategy and Provider Marketing on the GIBU Marketing team, you will be empowered to drive and support overall marketing direction. A typical day will include:

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

Cross:functional brand strategy
Cross:functional competitive strategy
Promotional and medical communications strategy for HCP customers
Executional oversight of HCP promotions and disease state initiatives
Oversight of successful integration of the sub:Q indication into the portfolio
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Maintain core brand message architecture and creative to be aligned to brand and/or franchises strategic priorities
Orchestrate brand plan process by mobilizing all functional leads to create a cross:functional situation analysis, strategic direction, and full tactical build:up and budge.
Drive overall marketing direction that corresponds to and takes advantage of key changes in the market, competition, new data, treatment paradigm shifts, and market events that require reaction
Brand representative to GPT ad hoc as Proxy for IBD representative on label updates
Support preparation for key financial and budget timepoints throughout the year : plan, MYC, LRF, etc.
Partner with Sales Leadership to gather local insights and feedback; develop and adapt plans to support personal HCP promotion and anticipate needs or communicate updates and changes
Market research and analytics prioritization lead for the Entyvio team
Oversee development and evolution of tactics and resources across all available channels : personal, non:personal, congress
Support and guide development of direct reports in marketing expertise, organizational awareness, exposure and career development
Manage high level relationship with key creative agencies and yearly assessment for any core agency needs for the HCP audience
Support Head of Marketing in representing brand:specific commercial perspectives in organizational decision:making related to Global Commercial Strategy, Global Product Team, life cycle development and clinical development programs.
Seek out partnerships with GMBU and other units within Takeda to create synergies
Manages budget to within +/: 2
EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Required:
Bachelors degree
10+ years of marketing, sales or related function experience in the pharmaceutical industry with 5 years in leadership level positions with increasing responsibilities
3+ years managerial experience
Desired:
MBA
Marketing Techniques : comprehensive understanding of pharmaceutical marketing methods, tools and concepts. (eg market research, advertising, public relations, media placement, etc.)
Specialty Pharma : experience working with specialty therapies, buy and bill reimbursement, complex biologics
Industry knowledge : comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the prescription drug distribution process (eg medical referrals, managed care systems, etc.)
Therapeutic knowledge : an in:depth understanding of the disease state, treatment paradigms and future trends
Product knowledge : comprehensive understanding of the medical/therapeutic usage of the products
Experience in senior marketing positions at a commercial pharmaceutical organization
