Overview: Ortho Molecular Products is currently seeking aSanitation Supervisorto join our Manufacturing team in Stevens Pont, WI. The candidate will be responsible for managing the sanitation process and leading personnel to accomplish an Ortho Molecular sanitation process which complies with Good Manufacturing Practice standards. The Sanitation Supervisor also ensures sanitation procedures in the manufacturing department and other designated areas of the facility are being followed in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
This is a 1stshift position- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Ensure that SOP and Safety standards are being maintained
Ensure compliance to GMP?s and FDA regulations
Ensure that all sanitation tasks are being properly performed and meet company standards
Develop and track improvement in the use and efficiency of sanitation labor resources
Work with Quality Manager to ensure that sanitation processes are adequate and in compliance with GMP standards
Work with chemical and material vendors to ensure that material resources (chemicals, tools, etc.) are available
Work with the Maintenance, Quality and Production to ensure sanitation related equipment PM?s are completed timely as well as maintaining a good working relationship with production and maintenance personnel
Track competencies of subordinates and provide leadership and development as required to achieve objectives
Implement continuous improvement activities through change management processes and best practices
Develop training for sanitation and production employees to maintain and improve sanitation processes
Ensure that training certifications are being completed
Lead the Sanitation Team in safe working practices including chemical handling, PPE, and OSHA requirements
Collaborate with QA staff to troubleshoot and analyze sanitation-related issues
Regularly audit sanitation processes to ensure compliance with SOPs
Review Sanitation and Housekeeping documents and programs as needed
Assist in interviewing, hiring and training of new employees
Possess skill in organization and prioritization with attention to detail
Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines
Ability to select, coach, develop, engage and retain a team of employees
Provide input and participates in project and team meetings
Qualifications:Food Safety/Sanitation training desired.
Chemical safety training desired.
Prior knowledge of Cleaning Validation Processes desired.
Experience with third party sanitation audits and requirements (FDA, NSF, TGA, etc.) desired.
Completed a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Degree in Operations Management or related field equivalent; 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Significant use of Microsoft Office; SharePoint and Navision systems desired. Sanitation certification/s and/or corresponding education required.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, emails, SOP?s and other materials required. Ability to write legible correspondence. Ability to effectively present information verbally to other employees of the organization. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
Advance knowledge of chemical handling procedures with the required Personal Protective Equipment. Knowledge of CIP and COP procedures.
Ability to add, subtract, and multiply applying statistical mathematical concepts when needed.
Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
