Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a
Salesforce Subject Matter Expert
as we expand our Salesforce service offering to our clients. Leveraging our significant capabilities with our offshore development center, we are looking to work closely with existing and new clients to identify best areas for customization, development, maintenance, or implementation of Salesforce applications. Our commitment to this service offering includes in-house expertise to attend client meetings, scope projects, offer Salesforce specific customer service, and interview and hire our resources to work at client sites for business analysis and project leadership.
Be the Salesforce technology and solution Subject Matter Expert on sales calls, meetings, solution presentations, assist the Client Executive with understanding customer requirements.
Take technology ownership of the assigned accounts/opportunities with the Client Executive.
Develop high level and detailed solutions to client requirements including design documents. Provide input for RFI and RFP responses, including the effort estimate, project team, timeline, implementation methodology and solution components. Anticipate customer needs and identify appropriate alternatives. Document architecture.
Create and defend solution estimate and Statement of Work.
Evaluate and provide feedback on the levels of skills, knowledge and expertise of planned members of the project team.
Work with the project team as well as client's business and technology representatives on specific technical design requirements. Provide recommendations on third-party applications when needed. Interface directly with clients from the initial conversations to determine project scope and specifications to the final presentation of software solutions.
Lead the development teams by directing and overseeing the activities of a team of developers, answering questions and helping to resolve issues as they arise. Ensure that specifications and requirements are clearly articulated to the development teams and monitor timelines and progress to ensure that team members are adhering to these specifications. Serve as a liaison between client-facing personnel and developers. Meet directly with clients to provide feedback and updates on development projects. C onsult with them about requested changes and estimate impact on the project.
Manage external vendors to develop and implement specific aspects of the software solution. Review proposals and estimates from these vendors and determine whether they fit into existing budgetary and time restrictions and ensure that external solutions work with internal development projects.
Maintain certifications and continually explore solution capabilities of the Salesforce ecosystem.
BS in Computer Science, Software engineering, MIS or Information Technology is preferable.
5+ years of Salesforce technology team lead/administration/development experience, 3+ years of leading small teams with ability to work directly with business partners to understand requirements and independently design and develop solutions in Salesforce.
2+ years' experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud each; additional experience with Marketing Cloud is a big advantage.
Experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems.
Ability to plan and lead Salesforce implementation and solutions, perform impact analysis independently when enhancing existing solutions. The ideal candidate led successful Salesforce implementations.
Experience with Salesforce.com development involving creation of custom objects and fields and their relationship with standard objects.
Experience in APEX programming, developing visual force pages in Salesforce, and writing REST APIs in Salesforce.
Experience in Salesforce data structures, security planning and implementation, objects, SOQL, data access tools like developer workbench, data loader etc.
Experience in creating complex reports and dashboards in Salesforce.
Experience in developing custom workflow rules, time-based workflows, process builder flows, batch processes, triggers in Salesforce.
Candidate must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to understand and explain related technical issues, and skills related to working and resolving problems in customer accounts. Pre-sales experience preferred!
Minimum of two Salesforce Certifications from the following areas: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Lightning, Advanced Admin and/or Developer.
