This is a newly created, critical role at a hyper-growth company and team, reporting to the Vice President, MuleSoft Training & Certification. You willdrive efficiencies that allow our teams more time with strategic initiatives, and reduce complexities to ensure our global training operations are set up to meet the increasing demand of our growing business. Your support contributes directly to our ability to scale our global team.The Director of Global Training Operations will improve planning, communications, execution and post-action review of key training & certification activities and initiatives. This role charts and executes a plan for how our training operations evolve and oversees the customer-facing global training operations, communications, team cadence and training systems functions as well as the global revenue-driving training subscriptions program. It is an opportunity to form, shape, and define a strategic function in the MuleSoft Training & Certification team.You will partner with the MuleSoft Training & Certification leader ondriving efficiencies as the team grows, and its processes and structures evolve. You will collaborate with the leaders of the MuleSoft Training Portfolio function and all our global theater leads (AMER, EMEA, JAPAC and INDIA), and support them and the expanding MuleSoft Training & Certification people management team. You will be defining, organizing, planning and optimizing all team cadences, managing cross-functional projects, tracking the global Training & Certification objectives (formulated in our V2MOM) including global forecasting and budgeting, and structure KPI reporting cadences. You would oversee the operations side of pricing, SKUs, contracts and contract templates for Training offerings, and the systems supporting those as well as interfacing with the MuleSoft and Salesforce organizations owning them.As a member of the MuleSoft Training & Certification leadership team you will be contributing directly to all strategic decision-making.What you’ll achieve:* Complete Salesforce and MuleSoft onboarding programs.* Become an expert on our goals, V2MOM, and global operations.* Learn all about the relevant MuleSoft and Salesforce systems (training, sales, others).* Together with the Training & Certification leadership team, develop and execute a strategic business plan.* Track and report on key initiatives defined in the Training V2MOM and perform key activity reviews and debriefs.* Define and drive the team’s operational cadence, including internal communications, and key events such as monthly all-hands meetings, quarterly reviews and annual kickoffs.* Regularly communicate data-driven insights to key stakeholders outside of the Training & Certification team suchas Sales, Customer Success and Channels, and internally to the Portfolio and Theater teams.* Own the internal communications lifecycle (which includes scheduling, coordinating, and rollout) of all global team communications and execute internal Training & Certification Team communications to MuleSoft stakeholders.* Improve the effectiveness of our on/off-boarding processes and Talent programs as well as collaborate with our data team to identify and optimize global resource allocations, resource needs and hiring plans.* Analyse, report and optimize customer-facing training operations.* Own the Training Partner Program, defining the types of training partners we have, and the business model they can deploy, in support of execution owned by our Theaters.* Own and run the global Train-the-Trainer program for all instructors, internal and external.* Own the global subscription program to drive additional monetization of Training content.* Plan and control the global budget.* Report on system effectiveness and ROI.* Produce and maintain operations dashboards.* Cadence weekly target reviews with all theaters and globally.* Provide clear and regular status on the state of global or local cross-functional initiatives.* Continuously monitor, analyse, and improve our internal processes and how we measure them.What you’ll need to be successful:* Demonstrated empathetic and inspirational leadership of a diverse set of individuals and teams.
