This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful chemical distribution organization in a position that is focused on selling natural gas processing chemicals to the Midstream markets.

Location: Home:based in the Midland/Odessa, TX area or SE, New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

:Manage and grow an existing territory and account base in the Permian Basin.
:Sell a broad range of process chemicals (methanol, coolants, glycols, amines, molecular sieve, activated carbon, etc.) to the Midstream Natural Gas market in the territory (gas plants, transmission facilities, etc.).
:The business requires selling on a commercial and technical level. Prospect for and develop new opportunities at existing accounts, as well as develop new accounts.
:Manage pricing, trouble shooting, new product and service introductions, etc.
:Communicate effectively with management, suppliers, and customers. Develop the sales strategy for the territory.
:Effectively use a CRM program to manage territory and account information
:Overnight travel is expected to be very minimal :10

Requirements:

:3+ years of chemical sales experience to the midstream market is ideal.
:Experience selling other products, equipment, or services to gas plants, or working in a gas plant with a desire to get into sales, is also a potential fit and a track record of sales success.
:High energy with the capacity to handle a large volume of activity. .
:Must be very professional, self:motivated, and have the ability to manage many activities, products, accounts, pricing, etc.
:A college degree is desired
