JOB SUMMARY 13;
The Revenue Cycle Intern will assist the Patient Access Support Services (PASS) team in addressing requests and issues reported by our Revenue Cycle business partners and will learn both the basics of Epic Patient Access modules and ServiceNow. The

Revenue Cycle team is also constantly looking for Process Improvement opportunities, so the intern will be able to dedicate much of their effort on a process improvement initiative that will help the department and organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* 13;

Observe areas of Revenue Cycle as it relates to Information Systems and Technology; provide minimal support as a means of learning the tools for knowledge of the department and processes.
:
Lead an IS and T Revenue Cycle Project that is process improvement centered.
:

Share results, recommendations, and/or documentation with department based on research, observations, data analysis, etc.
:

Work the PASS Revenue Cycle Service Now Q and work basic tickets and partnering with an analyst to complete larger builds
:

Have the opportunity to become proficient in one of the PASS Epic Administration applications (Cadence, Prelude, Grand Central, Welcome, Referrals, RTE)

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES* 13;

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
