About the RoleAs a Validation Engineer at DoorDash Labs you will play a critical role in verification and validation of our next-generation autonomous delivery robots.
You will report to the Lead of our Systems Engineering team based in San Francisco.
This role may be located remotely, but should be prepared for up to 50% travel to test sites in California, Arizona, Michigan, and Ohio.

in engineering, e.g.
robotics, mechanical, electrical or computer science8+ years of industry experience working in automotive or mechatronics engineering testing & validationHands-on experience with CAN bus, Ethernet data logging & network analysis toolsExperience with environmental testing such as thermal, shock, and ingress testingA track record of managing complex, cross-functional projects and programsA working understanding of vehicle mechanicals and electronicsAn interest in or working knowledge of autonomous vehicle perception systems
