Overview:

The Registered Nurse-GN works under the supervision of the Manager, Administrative Supervisor and/or Director/Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Education:Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
Licensure:Must have completed requirements for nursing degree and sit for board exam.
Certifications:BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale and PALS before taking care of patients independently
Licensure:Must have completed requirements for nursing degree and sit for board exam.
Other:Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine. It is the expectation that the scope of this role will include duties and responsibilities at Mercy Hospital Carthage and Mercy Hospital Joplin as needed. All Standards, Requirements, Training, Qualifications, Competencies, and Job Responsibilities stated here are assumed for all locations worked while under the capacity of this role.
