Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

FLSA Status: Salaried Exempt/Fulltime

Location: Remote Office (Western Region)

Department: Dover Food Retail Sales

Supervisor: Regional Vice President

Position Summary:

The Dover Food Retail RSM is responsible for achieving growth and sales targets by passionately promoting the company brand and products to Food Retailers, primarily supermarket, convenience store, drug store and dollar store. The RSM will successfully expand the customer base and create strong customer relationships by satisfying customer needs and demonstrating expertise how best refrigerated display case merchandisers and sustainable refrigeration technology. The candidate must have excellent communication, customer and interpersonal skills. The individual should have experience in dealing individuals at multiple levels of the organization. Key to success in the position is the ability to develop a strategic sales plan, execute a tactical approach to achieving sales goals combining product knowledge, marketing resources and construction services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build a strategic sales plan account by account.
:
Conduct sales calls to assigned accounts as well as prospective customers to explain the products and services that our company offers.
:
Qualify account needs while identifying key mobilizers within retailers organization.
:
Create and close sales.
:
Establish a commitment to forecasting business revenue on a month, quarter and annual basis.
:
As the key single point of contact with customers in your specific region of influence you will handle price objections, negotiations, preparation of bids and aftermarket support to strengthen the relationship
:
Model a collaborative atmosphere with our customer base that seeks to solve complex problems.
:
Record, update, and analyze account information to identify sales strategies and objectives.
:
Gather information on emerging trends within our industry from various sources and applying that knowledge as you work with our product management leaders.
:
Continually be aware of the expectations and needs of our customers and suppliers.
:
30 travel anticipated to spend in front of customers
:
Meet with Customers, Prospects, and Suppliers at their facilities on scheduled and unscheduled basis.
Basic Qualifications:

:
Bachelors degree preferred in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
:
Minimum of 3:5 years of progressive experience and responsibilities, experience must include technical sales experience in an industrial refrigeration environment.
