Danfoss is looking for a highly motivated Regional Sales Director to increase our sensor sales by developing, implementing and executing our sales strategy in North America You will be responsible for achieving agreed regional business goals in accordance with the overall business strategy and for ensuring superior performance against relevant KPIs. Background and Skills
To be considered for this position, you must have
Bachelors degree within Engineering; MBA preferred
6:10 years of international sales management to larger accounts; Sensor business experience preferred
Must be result:driven with a solid business acumen and commercial perspective with the ability to drive changes through persistency and teamwork
A structured and strategic approach to overall sales management with a proven ability to work cross functionally while using your solid business acumen in a technical sales organization.
Excellent presentation and communication skills across a matrixed organization, which will enable you to build relations across cultural and professional boundaries.
Must thrive working independently while motivating others around you to go the extra mile to secure a successful oCompanyome.
Must be open to up to 30:40 travel, depending on location
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following
Lead and develop the IA NAM regional sales and technical support team to achieve business targets as regional sales, market contribution and profitable growth
Drive profitable growth within the selected business segments by analyzing market development, defining target market segments and customer groups
Establish a multi:channel sales organization for key account sales and indirect sales, where synergies are utilized in an optimal way globally and strengthen leadership
Working with other sales organizations within Danfoss to broadly promote the sales of sensor products
Develop an energized, motivated team while measuring and improving the organization through strong performance management
Define and align sales growth strategy with overall IA sales, lead development of sales strategies, review and advice on policies of pricing, product mix, sales channels and brand portfolio
Comply with all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team and improve sales processes based on Danfoss standards.
