We're seeking a future team member for the role ofRegional Event and Marketing Manager (BNY Wealth) to join our Marketing and CommunicationsCenter of Excellence team. This role will work with regional leadership and marketing partners to build event and marketing strategies that drive business priorities and create commercial outcomes and will be based in New York. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of 3-days per week in the New York office (ability to travel or work off hours/weekends as needed).
Key deliverables for this role include:
Strategic planning for the regional events portfolio including content and program development.
Partnering with other marketing channels including brand, product marketing, website, social media, and PR to broaden impact and create streamlined campaigns.
Responsibility for end-to-end event management for all event components including agenda and content development in partnership with region, vendor management, site research, contract negotiation, expense management, catering, audio visual management, budget reconciliation, invoice processing, pre/post-event reporting, and ROI analysis.
Working with marketing partners across all channels to drive regional campaigns and create visibility through brand, social media, and product marketing.
Quarterly reporting to Executive Leadership on marketing programs and campaign results.
Spokesperson for all marketing initiatives within the region(s) you support, always ensuring your front office teams are updated with the latest campaigns, content and materials for their clients and prospects.
Management of Wealth events processes and procedures.
Co-management of all live and virtual webcasts. This includes:
Working with internal and external speakers to identify key themes and schedule accordingly.
Partnering with BNY's conference services and A/V teams as well as external production partners to plan and execute webcasts including running extensive tech tests to ensure a flawless audience experience.
Creating detailed show flows that include tested back-up plans in case of technology challenges during the webcast.
Creating documentation and updating processes and procedures and document lessons learned.

Provide best-in-class deliverables and results through all stages of the event and marketing campaign lifecycles.
Be a big picture thinker with meticulous attention to detail and ability to improve and raise the bar on event experiences.
Think commercially and focus on delivering outcomes based on business priorities.
Superior project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and execute flawlessly with incredible attention to detail through all stages of the event lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of event marketing and sponsorship/tradeshow strategies, and an understanding of event operating procedures and best practices. Demonstrated level of confidence and professionalism managing relationships and interfacing with internal and external business partners and senior executives at all levels, including C-suite.
Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills. Relentless passion for delivering excellence and exceeding client and stakeholder expectations.
Have knowledge of NYC and Tri-state venues and entertainment opportunities.
Preferred Education: BS/BA Degree.
Preferred Experience: 5-7+ years of experience in event management, marketing and/or similar area, experience in financial services and/or wealth management preferred but not required.
Other: Experience with Salesforce, Event Farm or CVENT a plus.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
